Hello,

In Dubai there are lots of luxury hotels most of them have bars & spa I have been looking on line & found Taj hotels, Kempinski and Millennium plaza although you can find good deals for online reservation. you can find good restaurants at the mall of Arabia.

Hi,

What about a luxury desert resort, me and my wife enjoyed 2 nights stay in Banyan Tree Al Wadi in a private villa with pool. We had a romantic dinner with a bottle of wine; I booked my hotel through <snip> with an outstanding discount I heard about them through Ahlanlive online Magazine, in the morning we had a fabulous massage in the hotel Spa ,I strongly recommend.

Hello AvaLee and welcome to Travelblog!

Dubai has an enormous range of hotels, so many that it the choice is almost overwhelming. They also have a good range of serviced apartments. Just do a Google Search of "Dubai Discount Hotels" and you will find plenty of links to different sites. It is also worth checking with some of the major hotel chains directly as they offer discounts for weekends (Thursday, Friday and Saturday night) and advance purchase. Reply to this

Shane is right! I'd use the internet to find the best offers as well! actually, I came across a website last year, <snip>, where they have limited offers for luxurious hotels. From time to time they give big discounts. However, you will spend less time in the hotel, than outside it, believe me!

My wife and I ran into the same question a few months back. We settled for a 5 star serviced apartment from the Hyatt.
It was a fantabulous experience! Almost everything you could think of in a 5 star premium hotel, for a budget!
The restaurant offered a fine dining experience and the staff were very friendly and professional. The exquisite selection at the bar had me surprised! The bar tender was a great conversationalist. She and I talked about the Canadian life (where I am from). It appeared as if all the staff knew enough about everything so as to engage in a fun conversation with you!
The service and comfort level at the spa instigated a sense of regret in me. It said, 'why have I been spending so much money on luxury 5 star hotels.. if the same hospitality (perhaps better) is offered in such serviced apartments!
