We will have four days in Wellington in July. What should we do or see?

We are spending 4 days in Wellington in July. We will have a car. We are planning to go to Te Papa, the zoo and Zealandia, and also the City Markets. Can anyone recommend other things we should see or do? We are also especially interested in food so any recommendations of restaurants or providores would be gratefully received. Reply to this

Hi Sue & Eric,

If movies is your thing, try Weta Cave.

The Cable Car is definitely worth fitting into your visit, and if you're there at the end of July make sure you take the time for the World Press Photo Exhibition.

wellingtonnz.com has some good info on accomodation, restaurants etc.

I went to WPPE last year when it came up to Auckland. It's only around $5 to get in, and you'll see some incredible photography.
