Can anyone give me information about the diving in Abu Dhabi, particularly in Mina Zayed. I hear the visibility isn't good. But what's the reef like? What kind of dives (wall, coral garden etc)? Depths? Any info you can give me would be appreciated. I'm a professional diver and tend to look for something out of the ordinary when I pay to dive so I'm wondering whether it will be a waste of my money or not! Thanks
Reply to this Everything up Dubai on the coast doesn't have much of a reputation. I would drive down to Muscat. It's good, not top 10 worldwilde for sure.
I've go a blog entry on this, went there for New Year 2009. Abu Dhabi to Muscat should be no more than 6 hours drive or a short flight.
