Hi, we will be traveling to Jordan in two weeks. I am wanting to find out a few things:
We are wanting to go from the airport in Amman to Petra. Leave our luggage at the hotel and then do the night show at Petra. Stay overnight. Book out of hotel, go to Petra, do the tour and go back to Amman. So here are my questions:
1. Transport from airport to Petra (preferably bus) - we will land around mid day.
2. Transport from bus stop in Petra to Hotel (is there taxi's at bus stop that can take one to the hotel, and around what price could we expect to pay)
3. Hotel in Petra (something $50 and under)
4. Can you buy the ticket for the night show just before the show? Is there limited place?
5. What can I expect to pay for a taxi from the hotel to Petra?
6. As we want to do Petra the next day and then leave straight from there to Amman, is there a place at the ticket office at the gate where you can leave luggage?
7. Is the best way to get to Amman the Jett bus? (don't want to pay the taxi fee...)
8. And lastly, hotel in Amman (something $50 and under)
