Has anyone recently moved their household belongings through Mexico to a Central American country? If so how did it work?
I am moving to Belize from the US. I want to buy a box truck and transport my household belong myself to Belize through Mexico. I have read on the internet and talk to custom brokers about get my household good through Mexico. The more I read and hear, it sounds like this is a big no! no! I've been told most household goods are forbidden to be transported through Mexico, but it might be possible if you bribe the Mexican custom officers. Has anyone recently moved there belonging through Mexico to a Central American country? If so how did it work?
