The previous one was released in May 2009, so wouldn't think that another would be released for a couple of years. I have an old copy of Middle East on a Shoestring - 2nd edition - and that was 1997. The first edition was published in 1994, so that might give you an idea of the time gap.
Reply to this Ah, then I will go ahead and buy it, instead of waiting. I am getting really excited about going to Syria and dying to read about the practicalities in the Lonely Planet. 😊 And maybe what they say about some of the other countries will inspire me for future trips. 😊
