looking at getting advise on family trip

planning for 2 years time when eldest on gap year !

kids will then be 18, 11 & 3 !!

looking at going in a landcruiser Amazon diesel with smallish trailer couple of roof tents aiming at 4-5month trip

anybody done anything like this with misses and kids etc
what route done before
rough mileage etc ?
