we have our flights and everything booked and paid for so hopefuly have enough if not i will have to tap up friends and family for a wee loan cause im not leaving early cause of low founds. money comes and goes and you only have one chance!
well good luck with the saving it crap saving but will be worth it in the end

Reply to this We booked with sta travel not the cheapest but very trustworthy and helpful
you could prob shop around to find the best deal. With me I just had to get a flight booked or I would of kept putting it off and ended up not going so I picked a date and booked. Sta have sales often have a look and let me know how u get on
cheers

How much you need depends on how much moving around you will be doing, but if I was going for 6 months, I would need an average of 25 to 35 Euros per day for overland travel. Also, it is wise to have around 100 Euros per month spare, for replacements, emergencies... I was recently travelling in Brazil, and spend an average of 42 Euros per day, but that included a lot of long bus journeys and Brazil is probably the most expensive country in S. America.
