Hello fellow travellers :) I'm planning a world around trip and I've got some wondering about travelling through America overland. Is it possible without to much of a hassle?
Me and my friend are planning on crossing borders all the way from Texas to Venezuela, hopefully doing it all by train. Is this a difficult way of traveling and which routes are preferred? Can you compare it to traveling around SE Asian countries?
We're thinking of doing this trip in a time line of two months.. what are the costs of doing this (visas and train tickets.) I'm not looking for any exact number as I know that's impossible, just the approximately costs.. is it 200 US dollars total... or is it 500.. you catch my drift 😊
To information: I'm traveling together with a friend, both men and we're Scandinavians, and I've traveled a lot in SE Asia before.. We're on a very tight budget (approx 10 - 15 dollars a day(accommodation and food) + extra cost (visas etc.)
Hoping for relevant information. Thanks on forehand. Cheeers! 😊

vagamundos did the Americas, from Argentina to LA overland (except that dodgy bit in Panama), maybe their blogs can help, or send them a message!
Good luck!
