Information wanted on things to do for three days when travelling from Cape Tribulation towards Cairns....

We\'re on honeymoon from 8 November until 28 November and are travelling around the east, south east and south of Australia. We\'ve done our own itinerary and are quite happy but we have three days which we\'re unsure of what to do.... We\'ll be at Cape Tribulation and need to fill three days before we head back to Cairns and then Sydney and home 😞
We\'ll have a 4WD campervan so I guess we\'re fairly free to roam but just wondered if anyone has any \"must see/experience\" places up that \"neck of the woods\".

Reply to this drive up onto the Atherton Tableland - out to the limestone caves at Chillagoe - about 100km out from Cairns from memory -see the curtain figtree on the Tablelands - see tobacco growing?? not much else there - try and find black sapote for a smoothy - they make the closest thing to a chocolate milkshake you will ever have in a fruit! Port Douglas to see how the other half lives? trip out to the reef from there - what won't you have done?

- relax on one of the many beaches
