New Zealand local tour question

can I book local tour there 1-2 days before the tour?

I am going to New Zealand in August.
May I know whether I can book local tour there 1-2 days before the tour? Will it be too late?

Moreover, I would like to join the local tour in Rotorua which is going to active volcano in white island and mt. Tarawera by helicopter.
For this kind of helicopter tour, should I book earlier instead of 1-2 days before the tour?

Just leaving NZ now. Never had a problem booking any tour. We always booked the day before. Its not peak season. Good deals to be got too. Search around. Reply to this
