Has anyone done the trek from Garmarud in the Almut Valley (Valley of the Assassins) to Yuj on the Caspian coast? I would like to know if it can be accomplished in 2 days and, where to find a suitable guide, if you still need warm clothing in late June and how to organize transport from Yuj to Rasht once the trek is completed.

Many Thanks Reply to this

Hello Marc 😊

You cant possibly be the only one who choose the Almut Valley as a trekking destination, can you? Hopefully, somebody will still come along and give information about it. Or maybe it will be you who is going to be the provider of this information for everybody else. Did you go there yet?

Here is a link to the blogs about Iran, by members of TravelBlog. Maybe their might be one or some about the Almut valley in there.
