Solo traveler looking for company

I'll be getting into Cairo on May 31, spend a few weeks in Egypt and head off to the West Bank where I will be volunteering for a month. After that I will make my way into Syria and end up in Beirut where I head to London on Aug. 9.

Anyone that is traveling that time, interested in meating up? I could use a partner.

Also, does any one have experience in traveling alone in that region? I've had experience traveling alone in Europe, but I am a little scared for this trip. Any words of wisdom?
