Important! I've lost my certificate of vaccination.
Hey guys! I'm leaving in 2 days to SE Asia, and I have a little problem, my certificate of vaccination is gone missing and I don't have the time to get a new one.. but a friend of mine took the same vaccinations as I did, and he has the certificate... Do you guys think I should write down on a piece of paper all the vaccinations I took or take his certificate with me?
Im a bit confused.. is it really that big of a deal?
Thanks! 😊

You wont be denied entry to countries or anything like that without the cert, in Asia.
You will likely remember which vaccinations you got anyway, but you dont usually even need to unless your are planning to stay long enough to need a Hep A booster. Or if you have had a rabbies vaccinination you should know, so if you are bitten by anything you can tell the medical staff in SE Asia which vaccinations you have already had.

Reply to this But a photo copy of your friends vaccination card will be useful for the future. In a few years time when you might need more vaccinations or to revaccinate it will be useful to have a record of what you got already.
Reply to this Hi,
The only thing that is important is the yellow fever. In some countries, you won't be allow in without the vaccination.

Are there countries in SE Asia that fall into that cathegory? If so, would someone post here which ones they are.
Reply to this Nope, it's only for Africa and South America. You may have problem if you travel from Africa or South America to Asia with less than 6 days in between.
