Hello Cesar 😊

I have met people of all ages including yours travelling in various parts of the world.

If you have the ability and desire to walk to Chile from Canada then I think you should go. Nothing wrong with taking the bus eiither or a combination of bus and walking. When I was in Kyrgyzstan a couple of weeks ago I met a retired couple in their 60s who have cycled all the way from Switzerland to Kyrgyzstan. They had been going for 17 months and still enjoying it with no intentions to stop any time soon. They said if they get fed up with it they will go home. They, like you have nothing tying them to home so are taking advantage of their freedom.

i think would be a good idea to travel to Chile driving my old car than catching a bus, the information given for the couple who shipped his Ford camper from Panama to Colombia, had given me a new point of view about my travel. All the information is very completed and detailed. But to have a companion to do the trip from Calgary to Chiloe Island in Chile,I believe will be important.. see uuuuuu on the road Reply to this

Cesare.

Do you speak Spanish. If not, I would recommend trying to acquire a basis Spanish vocalabury between now and August 2009. My wife and I recently spent a month in Chile as part of a round the world trip and we found our lack of Spanish a real hindrance.

On the positive side we met a lone American lady in her 80s in Lima, Peru as she prepared to go on a trip to Macchu Picchu. She told us that she only started travelling in her late 60s, after her husband died. Just shows that you do not need to be young to travel, or start travelling. Reply to this
