Dubai is too hot for tourists especially in summer months, too much humidity, you cannot have a walk somewhere coz of the heat, you will have to stay indoors.
I have suggested Jordan or syria coz the weather in there is very nice, rich culture, great food and less expensive.
The nature in those countries are better, ( not only desert like Dubai) where you can do a lot of outdoor activities.
😊

If you are a westerner, you will be welcome with both hands in any industry in Dubai. It is a good place to pump up your bank. Choose Dubai, as they are not very strict to the Sharia law to the tourists and immigrants.
There are a lot of fun activities and places to see in Dubai like Burj Khalifa- the tallest building in the world (it's deck view is breathtaking), the creek, the souks, and of course the palm and many other attractions. One fascinating <snip>place to go is Ski Dubai Penguins</a>, yes, "penguins" in Dubai. It's an indoor snow park. The life is Dubai is not going to be in boredom. But, watch out the expenses. Dubai is very tempting.
Considering your job, Dubai has many 5 star hotels and restaurants. So, you need not worry about the employment opportunities. If you wanna move out, Dubai is a good choice.
