Hi
I've overstayed my Thai visa by 8 days and not due to leave until 17/08.
apart from a visa run, how else can I get a visa extension?
I leave Koh Tao on the 17th and get to singapore on the 18th but don't go through Koh Samui.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

You can go to one of the immigration offices around Thailand and pay the fine for overstaying and also get a visa extension.
Last I heard you can also pay the fine when you are leaving Thailand but best go to the immigration office as soon as possible because they are getting more and more serious about the visas.
