"..on the road again..." I can hear Willie´s twang in my head as I drive up the mountain and over tabletop fields of corn and potatoes. I am in an old car with a driver who knows all the back roads. We nearly get stuck in mud twice, but his zippy sense of direction cuts off a few kilometres I suspect. With great sadness I left Ollantaytambo and headed for the Inca site, Moray. I left the rain... Finally covid restrictions have eased. I'm taking six weeks to bop around Europe in May and June 2022. Past -I have a year to travel starting this summer of 2008. I will start in the United Kingdom, then cross to Ireland. Then I plan to go to Poland and Ukraine. Depending upon the political climate, I may venture into Turkey. The bedrock is made of quartz, mica and felsbar crystals. Rock that slowly cooled and crystalized deep in earth before it became mountain slopes

Meanwhile, at the top (flat part) there were sheep. The herder was there too but I didn´t want to intrude on him by snapping photo
