Hey all...We are in Buenos Aires at the moment and having an awesome time!!! We arrived from Iguazu about a week ago...After an 18 hour bus ride from Florianopolis we got to the bus stop on the Brazil side of the falls...Iguazu is on the border of Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay...It was pouring rain and we had to walk with all of our luggage to find the bus to the Argentine border...Once we arrived there, we went through the really inefficient border control...It´s quite obvious why people can smuggle things across...Then we dropped our stuff at the hostel and took the bus to the falls...Iguazu is one of natural wonders of the world...It put Niagra to shame...There is a gang plank across the rushing river to a huge drop off called the ¨Devil´s Throat¨...It was soo scary...You literally think you are going to fall in and there is a ton of spray that soaks you wet...Since it had been raining we couldn´t take the river boat tour but we did get to see some monkeys and this odd animal that they were calling a racoon...It was obviously not...After the falls we went back to the hostel and met up with some Irish friends and went into town for dinner and drinks...The bar we went to was completely empty and we ordered some beer...They brought us ¨Quilmes¨(which is the cheap domestic beer...similar to Budweiser) in champagne buckets...and we had a waiter who stood next to our table refilling our glasses when they were empty...The next day was really nice so we ended up laying out by the pool before catching our bus to Buenos Aires...The hostel used to be a casino so it had a super nice pool...Which was a great place to work on our tans...Hope all is well!!! Miss you lots! K and E
