... much better than the bread salad, was a dish of local "peasant" sausage and fava bean puree and chicory, two side dishes very typical of the region. The chicory was a bit like spinach, but juicier - would've been great with a hint of garlic. The sausage was excellent, sort of a cross between the best Italian sausage and the best Spanish chorizo, the ultimate hybrid!
