... super-excited, seeing that it was a special dish of Matera, but then I realized it was just a bread salad! Bread in Italy so far has been terrible, yet I can't seem to escape it! I skipped over most of the bread, devouring all the excellent basil, tomatoes, onions, and cukes. 9 Euros was VERY expensive for this.
