... Matera's Museum of Contemporary Sculpture. Quite often in Europe, the buildings housing museums are more interesting than the works of art. Also mostly true in this case, though not by much, even though the building is a former residence, with works scattered in various rooms and caves. The works on display were also stellar - a top-notch museum.
