Meet Bona, tour guide & driver extraordinaire

We had the pleasure of spending three days with Bona, this lovely young man who safely drove us across the often precarious narrow mountainous roads, guided us to all the places we needed to see, and patiently allowed me to practice my basic Indonesian language skills with him for three solid days. It was difficult to say goodbye to our new friend, but hopefully we will share another adventure together next year when we return to Flores to explore the "Hobbit Cave".
