Our Amuse Bouche

Good thing Mary was with us last time in France and explained what an Amuse Bouche was, otherwise we would have freaked out because we didn't order it. Our complimentary "starter". Couldn't quite understand everything, but the left is marshmallow topped with peanut shavings (surprisingly tasty - nothing like Kraft), the center was a pastry filled with salt butter and un-identified objects (again, surprisingly tasty) and finally a carrot puff that didn't taste at all like carrots. I honestly ate one of each and they were all interesting and good.
