It's Wednesday evening and the weather is perfectly normal... There is however, a typhoon headed towards Hong Kong, but it is over 500km away and is not having any effect at the moment. It's predicted track makes it seem likely that the weather will get considerably worse and windy, but for now everything is fine. I moved to Hong Kong in August 2007 with the intention of staying for 9 months...until I left eight and a half years later....I finally made a move from HK and spent 2016 in Sydney, Australia. 2017 has included Thailand, Philippines, Hong Kong, Peru, Ireland and Sweden. My favourite adventure: I went travelling in Asia and Europe for six months, taking the Trans-Siberian railway back to England. We managed to get from Thailand to London with no airplanes!
