This morning, we drove from Gallup to El Morro National Monument. We were told that bull snakes may be sunning themselves on the path, which is never a good thing to tell Jeff (because he's very much not fond of snakes) or Liam (who thinks it'd be really cool to see a snake). Welcome to my travel blog! My husband Jeff and I waited six years after getting married before taking a vacation. It might have had something to do with being poor graduate students, or perhaps that we drove a 1991 Geo Metro. Anyway, we've tried to make up for it since. By the end of August 2008, he and I had been in the 48 contiguous states, as well as Hawaii.
