Heute geht es in den Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument. Auf dem Weg von Gila Bend, wo wir uebernachtet haben, gibt es schon einiges an Kakteen zu sehen. Das ist aber gar nichts im Vergleich zu den "Kakteenwaeldern" im Organ Pipe. Beim "Orgelpfeifenkaktus" verzweigen sich die zahlreichen Arme von der Pflanzenbasis weg.
