Fontaine Schwendi - Schwendi Fountain. The statue represents Lazarus von Schwendi (1522 - 1583), general of the Holy Roman Empire and lord of the Hohlandsbourg. The statue was designed by Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi. Installed in 1898, restored after World War II. Place de l'Ancienne-Douane. DSC_0855
