Ok so Tom still hasn't written his blog from about a month ago so I probably shouldn't be writing yet as will get horribly out of sync but seriously I need to do something to keep me busy.

This desperate need to find things to type about stems mainly from the fact that whilst on the one hand we have found the perfect job ie working in the city, not having a great deal of responsibility and being only a temporary position, the down side is that there is NOTHING to do, in fact The Team (all 14 of us) basically finished all that we had to do last wednesday, thats almost a week ago. Since then we have been playing on the internet/reading books etc. It kind of makes you wonder why we bother to turn up at all, but the simple answer is that even if we do NOTHING all day then we are still getting paid and we certainly still need the money.

The truth is there are only so many hours you can spend playing on the internet and even reading a book is not as appealing when you have to do it at your

desk wearing your work clothes. Its having a dangerous impact on us as we spend our whole time looking at places we are going to travel in the next few months and weighing up the pros and cons of different options, in the last 3 weeks we have booked a skiing trip in the South Island, a sailing trip in Queensland and we have just this second got off the phone to a place in Blenheim which is in the Malbourgh region (where we are going to be on Sat on the way to skiing) where we are going to stay and go wine tasting 😊

I know it sounds silly to grumble about having all these cool things lined up but my concerns are that a) we are wishing away these days in Wellington b) that we are going to have maxed out our credit cards by the time we do actually leave our desks!

Ah well sure things will pick up at about 3pm when we head for home.

Holidays start Friday! and it will still be Thursday where you are! tee hee.
