Pressure is on a bit now .. I have another special mate flying out to see me in the Whitsunday Islands, only this time the deadline has been moved to the 13th June !! now have to cover 5000kms in just nine days, so there will be some long drives over the next week and a bit. Although it will be great to get to see Jas and Jo again, so the sooner I get there the better .. bring it on !! A bit of a back track this morning ( bloody hate that) but the quickest route to Esperance is via Bunbury. After breakfast we drove up to and climbed Bluff Knoll, the tallest peak in South West Australia. It was pretty hard going, not helped by the heat, but it was well worth it and I found a nice little spot to sit, eat my tuna sandwich and read. I was actually quite some time (engrossed in the tale of Koitick the white sealin The Jungle Book) and by the time I had finished I was the only person at the top; it was beautifully serene and pretty cool. It was time to take a break from the City for a few days so we headed out to our relatives In lake grace, proving to be my favourite part of this trip for sure....We rented a car as soon as we had arrived in Perth so we drove this on the very, very, very, long journey far far far out of the way..ha ha..but don't worry it was worth it...
