Well we have had our last night in Sydney and had a really nice Thai meal - yes Thai meal - think I should have had a good old Ozzi meal but do you know what, I don't fancy kangaroo, ha ha.

We packed our things and after a good nights sleep up we got and left our bags at the reception to get some breakkie and catch a cab to the airport.

Am I sad to leave Sydney? To be honest, no I do not think so, I have been here now 3 different times for a quite a number of days on each visit. I have probably not seen half of it but do you know what I think it is time to see new places and experience things that I have not seen or done before - so looking forward to seeing Melbourne.

Just a thought where else in the world would you be able to buy flip flops or thongs to the Ozzie's in a vending machine!!

Another thought is why do UGGs come from Australia where it always seems so hot here! I have heard even there winter is hotter than our summer!!

Hang on a second, No Paula you have done it again with all your research into where to stay - yes pat on the back PJ

So our first stop was the information centre to arrange our myiki card which is like an oyster card in London - so we have preloaded the card and Melbourne is now our Oyster (do you like the link, ha ha).

We have now had a couple of days in Melbourne and we have been to the Queen Victoria Market which was a really large market just like we used to have in England. We got lots of fruit as they were selling it off really cheap as it appeared to be
