So it is that we pull in to Adelaide on this winters afternoon 81 days after our departure. We have travelled a total of 14000kms and spent approximately $4000 on diesel. We have stayed at 37 different locations, ensuring a well organised routine 37 set ups and 37 pack ups later. We have travelled the Nullarbor to the coast, the Kimberley’s and the NT and back to our home turf of SA. What an amazing trip!
I have no doubt that we will have a lot of wonderful memories of our journey to the west for many years to come. Here marks the end of our adventures and our stories of Heading West in 2008. We know that this will be the inspiration for many more Australian driving trips to come.
