Today we went to Tuncurry. That night we went to the fair. My favourite ride went backwards really fast and spun. There were lots of beautiful beaches. When we get back, we are going to organise a big camping trip with all our friends. Like Seal Rocks, Bluey's Beach or Elizabeth beach. All these beaches are in the Myall Lakes district. Lakes on one side and beaches on the other. Then we went to Cessnock to visit Ross, Isabell, Hugh and Uncle Glenn. Ross told me all about what it is like to be a geologist. I still want to be one. We went to heaps of vineyards. Mum and dad loved it. It was ok but a bit boring. Isabell gave me heaps of Goosebumps books and some other great presents. My favourite book was ... read more

Well, where will I start, probably at 7.30am when we left on Friday 11/02/11! unfortunatley I had a client to see at Booral which is near stroud on The Bucketts Way, so The Moth dropped me off and he was to head for a game of golf, but he decided to drop The Ark at the van park and explore the surrounding areas and come and collect me at 2pm-well I had hoped the usual finish time with this client, but not this time, a few issues but was out of there at 4pm, always the way when you are heading off somewhere. Because The Ark is so old it can't be put up by one person, 2 can do it but if any one offers to help we don't say no! So we arrive at ... read more

We figured if we headed down to the coast we could get both and have breakfast too. We set off for hawks nest it was not too far away from where we had stayed and we were pulling up by the sea before we knew it. Tim got the kettle on and I started cooking the bacon it was only when we were sat eating and drinking in the front (it was cold) that we spotted what we thought was a dolphins fin. Tim said he thought he had seen one a few moments before. At closer inspection and to our utter disbelief ... read more

Its the second week of the tour, and we have wheels!! We bought a 1989 Ford Falcon stationwagon from a car dealer, for about $4000 (about 1800 pounds), and was previously given the name "snoopy" by its previous owners. Now for those of you who thought that we were going to buy a campervan, this turned out to be more expensive that we thought, and would have cost us even more in maintainance. So we opted for this car, which has enough space in it to put a double mattress (once we have the back seats down), and will save us a lot of money in accomodation. Having said that, the camp sites are only about $20 per entry/night, so thats not too bad. We have bought sleepingbags, cooking equiptment, tent (given through dave), and we ... read more
