Day 6- Going to the Sun
Today we ate in the dining room for breakfast and had the breakfast buffet. Everything was really good and we ate a ton! After breakfast we walked by the lake a little bit and bought some souvenirs in the gift shop. Then we got we got in the car and drove to the sun. Not really the road we drove on was called Going to the Sun. It is really nice and old it was built in 1932 and is still open for most of the year. There are lots of turnouts and picture spots and we stopped to take pictures at a lot of them. We took a lot of pictures and we even stopped to play in the snow for a while. The road goes through Logan Pass and at the visitor center and saw some Big Horn Sheep. There was about five of the on the side of the road. We took some pictures and them and then continued on the road. When we finally got to the end of the road there is another visitor center that we went into and they had a telescope that was focused on an osprey

nest. It was really cool and the babies were really cute. Then we left the park and drove to the border of the United States and Canada. Then we drove into Canada. That was my first time into Canada and was really exciting. We entered the Waterton Lake National Park in Canada, it was very beautiful. We stayed in the Prince of Wales Hotel. It has a fabulous view of the lake and we had a lakeside room with a balcony. We went on a wildlife viewing drive but didn’t see any wild life except for one deer. Then we washed up for dinner and had dinner overlooking the lake. It was really good and proper. The hotel is really old and fancy, English styled. After dinner we went out on the wildlife road again but didn’t find anything. We looked for a moose but we weren’t very lucky. It was getting dark and we wanted to go to bed so that we could get up early to hopefully spot some more wildlife.
