Nate was able to obtain 2 new tires from a local tire dealer and put them on the trailer. Then we headed out towards Toledo, OH. We stopped off at Bronner’s Christmas Wonderland in Frankenmuth, MI. It was a magical place with Christmas décor outside and inside, lights everywhere, and Christmas overload. Next door was a hotel with an indoor waterpark, but it was too pricey, so we continued to Toledo, OH.

So, I figured out this evening why Nate has been rushing the trip since I had him take over a few days ago. He has been trying to get to Cleveland, OH because his favorite band is in concert their tomorrow. Well, he is not going to make it despite only being 2 hours away. Daisy and I don’t think it is a good idea for him to travel to concert alone in an unfamiliar area so he will have to wait. He gets to see DMB annually at home, so don’t feel too bad for him. Plus, even at home when he goes on his own, he gets himself in trouble running his mouth to other concert attendees. One year he told the story that he thought he was going to get punched in the face, so we will keep him with us.

On the way into our campsite, we say a cute little bunny, a curious deer, and a lot of different birds. However, we didn’t get on our campsite until after 9, so we did not get to do any activities here today.
