Flat Tire
fixing tire So yesterday we were driving just outside Tuba City, AZ. Dave said "What's that noise?" what noise? "that noise - it sounds just like it did just before our tire blew out exactly a week ago today." i don't hear anything. it's steering just fine. Should I pull over so we can take a look? And just then BLAM - and I could see our tire fly off into the distance. another flat tire and not a fireman in sight.
We looked it over and decided to unhook the car and leave the trailer behind and just go home to Colorado.....just kidding. But we did unhook the trailer and drive off to find a decent jack. And what did we find just about 1/2 a mile down the road.....a tire repair shop! They followed us back to our abandoned trailer and fixed the trailer tire for us. 😊 x 10!
Today we bought a new tire - bigger and better. That was in Montecillo. Then in Moab we bought another one AND a hydraulic jack. Now we have 2 (TWO!!!!) spare tires and two new (bigger and better) tires. Now we will probably NEVER have another flat tire.
PS Utah has bridges with water under them.
