Day 137 (Friday 04/09/09, NJJ)
We both hardly slept last night - it was sooo windy! Drove the scenic drive in Capitol Reef National Park and then on to Canyonlands National Park. We've seen some more spectacular scenery and vast lands. Saw on the sights including North and South window, and delicate arch. There was a rain shower following the thunder and the scenery was still amazing, just shown in a different light. Saw a few rainbows. We drove through Moab on route to Monticello. Arrived at destination around 7.30pm. Tent up at the not-so-well lit Mountain View RV park and went for dinner at the Lamplighter restaurant. Food was ok but very unhealthy.
