Dear All, The more schools I visit, the more I am convinced that there are so many schools that could be "great fits" for our students. Impressions of Lehigh, Lafayette and Muhlenburg follow. Lehigh University (www.lehigh.edu) Student Body Population--4800 Classroom Performance 90% of admitted students are in top tenth of high school class Mid 50% Test Scores (if required) SAT 1290-1400 % Out of State 75% % Male 61% Fifty miles south of Philly and 75 miles northeast of New York, this 1600 acre campus is simply spectacular in its beauty. The campus reminds me of Duke in terms of its architecture. Tour Our Information Session of approximately 40-50 students and parents was broken into approximately five smaller groups. Okay, I'm going to try and update this as regularly as possible. I'm hoping to use it to keep everyone updated from time to time, and to keep track of the next four months. At 13,500 RPM my hands hum and vibrate at the speed of life. I am deep in the refinishing project at my sister’s house. My estimation says that there is another 1.5 week left of sweating and sanding. I should change my estimation for life has a way to stretch out when you least expect it. Up. Down. Move the ladder one bit at a time. Clean the goggles. Wipe sweat of your face. Shower. Eat. Get some rest before going back at it. Want to 'feel' life? There certainly is plenty of time to ponder about life as one perches on top of a wobbly ladder while reaching for that impossible spot.
