Portland Visit

We decided to stay through Monday here in Portland. The weather has been perfect. Today we slept late and walked to a nicw cafe down the street for breakfast. Portland has so many little restaurant/cafes everywhere. The food is fantastic! This afternoon we went to see the new Star Trek movie. We hit the grocery store for provisions for the trip, then out to dinner. We went to a wonderful creole restaurant. I had jumbalaya and Ed had etoufee. Fantastic! We are waiting for the laundry to dry and then off to bed. We will head to Canada tomorrow. I do not think we will have internet access for the next several days. Next Friday we should be in either Port Edward, BC or Hyder, Alaska. Unless the plans change, and since there is no plan, that is totally possible. The next post, I promise, will have some photos.
