Hammondsport wasn't mentioned anywhere but we stopped in for breakfast and although it was by far our worst meal and even worse service the town was pretty as a picture. Its located on Keuka Lake and had a nice little market underway with some quirky things. Walk down to the harbour and look around before heading to Letchworth State Park.

Letchworth was a huge park. Takes an hour to drive from one end to the other, but all the really interesting things are at the South end. The gorge is over 500ft high and referred to as the Grand Canyon of the East. Quite awe inspiring, can't imagine what the Grand Canyon would be like. Walked to the Upper Falls and yes, we have water, they are beautiful. Heard them before we saw them. Then walked across to the middle falls which were more spectacular, but the upper were prettier.

So worth the stop, the place was amazing and fabulous picnic areas just to sit and enjoy the green space.

Drove through to Niagara Falls, Canada side and Graham and I walked down and had a sneak peak....wow. Back for dinner and did a lap around to show the girls quickly before bed, and they don't look as spectacular at night, but they are lit by coloured lights. What I didn't expect was the 'Las Vegas' or 'New York' light fantasy and spectacle that came with it.

Looking forward to tomorrow.
