We left out late on Labor Day about 7am. We took a bit different route west this time - 20 to Sweetwater then NW on 84 into New Mexico. This let me see a part of West Texas I haven't seen in a while & a part of New Mexico I haven't seen. Arrived at campground KOA about 6pm their time gained an hour. Beautiful and highly recommended campground. The hosts were very nice. Clean & newly remodeled bathhouse with instant hot water. We didn't check it out but they had a good size barn that was a game room over on the other side of the property. Two or three common areas. One up by the office with a grill and lots of patio furniture to hang out and talk. Very dog friendly camp. Campsite was very private with juniper & pinon trees around. Level so easy set up of tent and canopy. We got everything set up just right in an hour or so then took off for a bit.
