We left out late on Labor Day about 7am. We took a bit different route west this time - 20 to Sweetwater then NW on 84 into New Mexico. This let me see a part of West Texas I haven't seen in a while & a part of New Mexico I haven't seen. Arrived at campground KOA about 6pm their time gained an hour. Beautiful and highly recommended campground. The hosts were very nice. Clean & newly remodeled bathhouse with instant hot water. We didn't check it out but they had a good size barn that was a game room over on the other side of the property. Two or three common areas. One up by the office with a grill and lots of patio furniture to hang out and talk. Very dog friendly camp. Campsite was very private with juniper & pinon trees around. Level so easy set up of tent and canopy. We got everything set up just right in an hour or so then took off for a bit.
Hello All and Thanks for Stopping By!
I love to travel and explore - for now just the great USA via road trips. We started with trips with the kids then now by ourselves or other adult family members. In the future we will take take adventures with the grandbabies - they just need to grow a bit more.
We love to gamble, explore nature - short hikes, photograph and just generally have fun!
I have decided to write in some of our older trips
because I really want to share all the great things we have seen in the USA!
