Hello again, On monday we had to move our trailer. I went to the shop yesterday to see if we could stay another couple of days. She said sure but someone is booked to come into your site for 3 days right behind you. So we packed up and moved to different part of the park with no sewage hook up now. No biggy then we drove to Toronto again. Found a park in a parking building and went to the Eaton center shopping mall. Its got over 250 shops and over a million people go through there a week. 2 levels above ground and 2 below, An awesome curved glass roof that has to be at least 700m long along the main shopping area was incredible. So while the girls went one way the boys went ... read more

We managed to get Josh on the ferris wheel, after going around a couple of times, he even managed to look over the side.Went on a roller coaster in a building which was good then Ross rang to say they were over at ' Hurricane harbour' the water park part of great adventure. So we went over there and went on a couple of the rides. They had the wave pool too but theres was heated. so we hung out in there for awhile and it clouded over and got cold. So we all got out and went back over to great adventure. Spent the afternoon doing rides. ... read more

Hi From New Jersey . Well we got away from Washington DC about lunchtime after doing some washing and emptying out the sewage tanks. I get all the good jobs. Had a pretty good run up here. Got tucked big time on tolls, $39.00 in tolls. We hadn't paid any before then. Delaware was the best , we only went through 23 miles of Delaware and they got us for going over there bridge and along their piece of road. Got to Ross and Christa's about 5pm,managed to fit the trailer down beside the shed. Friday we went to the Columbus flea market, Kylie and I went here years ago and it was huge, Friday obviously wasn't a good day to go as only the inside was open, Kids bought lollies funnily enough. I took the ... read more

Posted by: Onaxthiel: A driving day, by any other name, is still basically a boring day. The only stop we really made all day was in Baltimore to see Fort McHenry, famous for being the first home of the star spangled banner. The fort is in pretty good shape for a two hundred year old structure. Mostly I attribute this to the fort being manned by the US army until 1919, so it was well maintained before the park service took over. Having lots of cheap labor is handy in maintaining an historic structure. The interesting part of seeing the fort to me was finding out that the fort itself really did nothing in the battle for the city of Baltimore except standing there. The only shore battery's that fired on the British fleet during the ... read more

MC tu as manqué ta chance……. Mercredi le 19 septembre ... read more

This is what us poor people that have daily and weekly obligations call a vacation. Don't worry though, I will not always be taking such pathetic little trips. I save for all kinds of things. If Vinny Carbone can win 5 million dollars on a NY scratch off, I can certainly figure out how to make and save a large amount of "scratch" here and there (refer to blog title). This weekend I decided against waiting around for St. Pattys Day plans and took a small road trip with a friend to visit her family. (Got me out of town for a couple days) For a while now this is what I plan on doing; just taking a few weekend trips to the surrounding states and drivable or shortly flyable distances. Hopefully come summer time ... read more
