Welcome to NH!!! I have poison ivy on my legs and the mosquitos are the worse they have been the entire trip!!! ...but we made it full circle! We are back in New Hampsha' and soaking up our last few days out here on the *Open Road*. We decided yesterday instead of bouncing around to a few other places between NY and NH what we really wanted to do was set up camp and relax for the last few days-and that's what we're doing! We set up home at Bear Brook State Park in a nice shady site. It felt like we had the place to ourselves yesterday ...today a few neighbors rolled in but it's pretty quiet. It it 2:35 AM and sleep will not come. Good news! My backpack isn't that heavy! Hurrah! I am very proud of myself for packing everything I need into one single backpack and a purse. Upon entering the museum we were greeted by a pleasant woman who asked us if we had visited the Currier before. We told her we hadn’t and had come to see the Zimmerman House. She began to laugh and said we’d have had to purchase our tickets online in advance because the house tour is always sold out. The woman selling tickets from across the room listening to our conversation injected that there were tickets available for the afternoon tour. The greeter told us she was surprised as there are never tickets ... read more

Hello Everyone! So right now I am sitting at home just having said good bye to my friends and am now waiting for my parents to get done doing whatever it is they are doing. In about 30 minutes we shall be heading off to the airport...ahh! I have never traveled to a different country by myself before and I am very anxious/scared! My travel time is almost 24 hours from the time I leave Boston, MA and the time I arrive in Salvador, Brazil at 4:05pm TOMORROW!!! I'm totally freaking out that I might have forgotten to pack something and you know that my suit case is already TOO heavy and packed WAYYYY to much. If I do any shopping in Brazil (which I promise you I will) I am going to have to buy ... read more
