New Years Day- Las Vegas

Day started a little later. Breakfast done and then bused downtown. Got on the wrong bus so had to walk a couple of blocks though. Went to a half price ticket booth and got tickets for the Titanic Exhibition. An interesting collection of artifacts and displays about the ship and shipwreck. No photos allowed but did get our photo taken on the famous stair case for 20 bucks.

The titanic exhibit is at the Luxor, which is the pyramid casino and hotel. Took lots of photos outside there and then had McDonald for lunch, for the first time in the US.

Met Paul and family outside MGM and got back on the bus and headed to the North Vegas outlet stores which are over near the west side of the CBD. kids got some new Vans, which they had been hanging out for. I got some Levi's, converses and some polo Ralph lauren boots.
