Well...Hello to all! hmmm........thinking about packing.....maybe......well....to be honest.......ya, I still got NOTHING!!!!!!!!!! Help! I just can't think about it.......it's too stressful! Well I am now back from Chicago. Nothing like taking a road trip with two teenage boys altogether in the back seat. Any way spent Sunday night in Minnesota. Then Travelled to Chicago Ill. Stayed in one of Fred's sister's room. Very nice. Anyway on Wednesday went into Chicago city on Thursday. What a mission took hour and a half, but lots to see. We went to the Shedd and saw lots of fish, turtles and snakes. Though my fav would have to be the Dolphins and the Whales. We then went to the Museum and saw a Maori exhibit (how ironic) and the natural disasters exhibit. See the pics. On Thursday went to the water park-lots of fun and a bit sunburnt !! My original plan was to travel to South Dakota on I-70 through west Kansas, however there was a storm system that was heading west so I decided to go north and try to get over the top of the system. There road out of Kansas was great, I went through Belleville, Kansas and couldn’t resist taking a picture of the welcome sign and including it here—couldn’t take a picture of the town because there really wasn’t one! We think Bellville, Texas is out in the country--we are urban by comparison. My plan was to drive north into Nebraska and the west. Everything went well until I made the left turn and started west.
