Bling at the RV Show
Showing off blinking ringsIt's Big ...... very Big - thus, we didn't see it all but we saw enough. Every January, the Tampa Fairgrounds holds a huge, mega RV show. We went yesterday to this RVer's Mecca with Sam & Sandy. We had a great time but we were all pooped out by the end of the day as we crawled out of the show....similar to Leonardo Dicaprio in his latest movie that we just saw (County Club scene). We trolled through the two exhibition halls, collecting goodies along the way. Sam became our "bag boy" as we loaded his scooter down with all our bags. It made our travels easier but "where is Sam?".....almost hidden under all the bags of treasures. Just like a pirates bounty...he was a true buried treasure! We raced in and out of the various motor homes like prairie dogs. My knees called out to me: STOP! A couple Motrin and they were quiet. Cory met up with Bob Tiffin (Owner, CEO of the maker of our RV)...had a photo shoot....just like "Best Buds." We ran into some of our Tropical Palms friends as well as our dealer friends, Linda & Jim, who are staying in Fort Myers right

Making plans.... now. With so many people in attendance, it is almost a certain you will encounter someone you know. Lulu was sorry she couldn't go. She needs to loose weight before accompanying us on a long walking expedition. She has a heavy head! I took a couple photos for her to make her feel better. Early in the afternoon, we made grand plans to eat dinner at Cherry Pocket. By the time we left the show, we could only think about heading straight home to soak our sore, aching muscles. We found ourselves eating a late night supper in a close-by eatery...comfort food. We needed it as we dragged our weary bodies back to our RV's. Cherry Pocket will be another venture.
