Earl of Sandwich
Yummy tuna melt but too toasted Overcast skies and the threat of rain was enough to make us plan our day undercover. Morning coffee was shared at the Reception Building with our wintertime friends. A coffee hour is held for all of us every Tuesday morning. The room was packed so it looks like the "Gang's All Here." The room waxes and wanes as the months pass....at the end of April last year, there were only 6 of us at one table. Right now, we shall enjoy the comradery of the masses. Craving my tuna melt sandwich since last April, we sped off to the Disney Village and The Earl of Sandwich. My juices were flowing. It was good but seemed a little too toasted. Rats! Next time (and there will be many) I'll mention that I want it only LIGHTLY toasted .... I'm sure it will be perfect then. "It's A Small World" after all - walking through the Village, we ran into a couple who are dealers on our field at the Brimfield Show. They come to Florida to do several antique shows down here. The most we are going to do is haul some trinkets to the Webster Flea Market and sell there. It's Favorite Disney Places
New lounge at Rain Forest Cafe and Irish Pub. just in our blood. We may need a transfusion to completely stop. Going past the huge movie theater stirred a desire to see a recent movie. We bought tickets for "The Wolf of Wall Street" and killed some time before it began by checking out the new additions and changes at Disney Village. Miles of walking ended at an outside bar next to the theater - providing a nice oasis before movietime. Once inside, we located our movie location only to find our friends had made the same plan for the day....good minds think alike! The movie was good but not one we would revisit. Still having popcorn in our bag, we shot into another movie across the hall: August: Osage County. I love Meryl Streep.....best actress ever. Movie, again, was okay but not one to see at another time. By now, our bums were numb so we headed home. I think if you had the stamina and eye strength, you could watch as many movies as time allows.....a true movie marathon. It had been a full day and night before we finished. Traveling home, we were surrounded by a nightly fireworks display along our route. We don't find this

Watch out for the 'gator! going home to Shongo. Life Sparkles! Today was Cory's first actual physical therapy session at Celebration hospital. The therapist told him he was already in good shape with his shoulder so he should move along very well and quickly. Hooray. His goal is to be able to swing his golf club like he wants. Fore! OMG!!!!!!!!! A horrible accident just happened and Cory is the victim. He was just hit by a flying helicopter while strolling in our park. Please live, Cory.....don't go to the bright light! I must start CPR. No, wait...he's breathing: he's alive! Hallelujah! Some wound care necessary. Now he will need more physical therapy for having his head almost knocked off by this dangerous, out of control helicopter. Please send condolences to him at this blog site. No need for flowers. Stay strong, good man, while your wounds heal. We are here for you during this traumatic experience. Who would have thought he would have been struck down in his prime by such a powerful airborne vehicle. FORE! DUCK!
