Ok, I admit it - I am addicted to Key West's key lime pie. I don't care if it's The Blond Giraffe's or Jimmy Buffett's....just give me that key lime pie - please. I think about it when I wake up and don't relax until I have a piece. I am sure I dream about it at night. Maybe they put something in it to tempt unsuspecting tourists. I usually don't go this crazy over food but there is something about this damn key lime pie that is making me obsessed! LOL! Plus we are leaving Key West today -- so this is it for awhile. My last chance to have a piece of TRUE key lime pie. Key lime pie without the lime -- who would've thought?? Enough about that (for now...lol)! I should write ... read more

Today we were off again at 8:00 AM and were present at the foot of Main Street when Mickey rolled into the station with his character friends to open the park. Off we walked down Main Street to Tomorrow Land where we hopped a space flight. Then on through the park on the touring plan… to Splash Mountain, where… fast pass in hand… the ride broke down before we got to it... disappointment number 1. So we re-grouped, snagged a Fast Pass for the Jungle cruise, rode Pirates of the Caribbean and visited the Enchanted Tiki Room that is under new management. Back to use our Fast Pass and on it went till we stopped to watch Cinderella get crowned right in front of her castle. Then disappointment number 2… a tummy ache. Well… a few ... read more

Well... it is 10:30 PM here at the world, and we made it. A few bumps in the Magical Express, but overall a good experience... okay a great one. We started this morning at 5:30 AM in beautiful Seattle. Alaska Airlines finally came through with 2 seats together, and just over 40 minutes late, we took off for Florida. Thank goodness for portable DVD players. 4 hours and 40 minutes later, we arrived. Down stairs, to Disney's Magical Express and off to the hotel... but wait, where is the DVD player. UGH!!!!!!!! Papa managed to leave it on the terminal train... well I must say that the Orlando International airport has their s**t together. Calling by cell phone from the bus to the hotel... they were able to track it down for us. So, we arrive ... read more

Super Motel 8 I remember this one time we got stuck in Orlando after a Disney World vacation. Our car broke down and we ended up staying at a Super 8 in Orlando, so we could hit the repair shops in the morning. I had never stayed in a Super Motel 8 before, but it wasn’t as bad as my friends made it out to be. Our cars was fixed that day and we were able to leave Orlando and the Super Motel 8.... read more
