Yesterday (March 27th), was transition day for the Knapp family. They left Mystic Dunes and moved into our timeshare condo, Cypress Harbour. We bought it years ago, pre-construction, through Marriott. With normal traffic, we can reach it from Tropical Palms in @10 minutes. The condo is located over near Sea World. It is beautiful there with wonderful amenities. This year, the unit that the Knapp's are in, has been completely remodeled with all new furnishings. It is very nice but looks so different than the prior nautical theme. It's a more modern, NYC look.
We went to Buffalo Wild Wings for supper. We froze to death. Inside, their air conditioner was cranked up so high that icicles hung from everyone's nose. No ice cubes needed for drinks; just dip your nose-cicle into the drink and stir! We sat outside in their screened-in porch - it seemed a tad warmer....but soon a cool breeze kept blowing on us from the rains that had recently fallen. Finally, Jay noticed a huge ceiling heater that was eventually turned on but by that point, ice cubes had encapsulated us into human ice sculptures. And this is with jackets on! Plus Hot Tubs & Moregirls how to stay warm in these ridiculously, over-air conditioned buildings by wrapping their arms in napkins -- like wearing long sleeves. Lucky Lulu...she has no arms or legs to freeze. These businesses could save so much money on their utilities if they would just realize we don't want to dine inside a walk-in food cooler. Hear me, Business Owners..."We are not polar bears! Turn down the air or turn up the heat!!" I know... It won't change....so be sure to bring a jacket whenever you want to go into a building in Florida....even Wal-Mart! Otherwise you will be wrapping your arms and legs in napkins and look like a mummy.
A lot going on today, March 28th. Lory, Al, Brittany, Sara & Ashlynn got up early to go to "Forever Florida". It is a Zip Line Park beyond St.Cloud. As you can see by the pictures, they had a wild and happy time dangling and sailing through the air hooked to strings and straps. Not my cup of tea....I get anxious on escalators. Ah, to be young again. Cory and Jay played golf. Need I say that they had a good time. This is what they look forward

And the Sandy Beach but chair collapsed on her....no happy to every year. I busied myself at the RV catching up on my mundane tasks. Feel sorry for me? I hope so. I love sympathy.
Kim, Jim and Haley arrived at their condo at Cypress Harbour @3:00 PM (March 28th). They had been staying a few days down at Cape Coral which they enjoyed. We are so happy to have the families together now. Hail, Hail, the family is all here (except for our sons and other grandchildren). Kim & Jim prefer staying across the lake which is surrounded by the many condo units. We will get our exercise going back and forth across the bridge to visit each family (Knapp's are on the other side near the Main Lobby). The Faber's condo remains the nautical theme which we have been accustomed to for many years. Dinner tonight was at "The Trough"- aka: the Golden Corral. Never, Never, Never can you leave this place hungry......even if you take only a smidgen of a portion of their food samples. Every kind of food you can think of is here....and it is all yummy. I always feel like Orca the Whale as I drag myself out of this temple of temptation.
Family inside Condo
Brittany & Al & Lulu The guys have planned their day for tomorrow: golf. They will have a good time. Their eyes were dancing once their Tee time was made. Cory jumped in bed as soon as we got home so he would be well rested for his dream-come-true day. FOUR! Not sure what us ladies will do but I am sure it will be something good. CHARGE! Take your pick who you want to go with....there's room for everyone.
