The Joys of Disney
Once one gets past the price tag you can enjoy yourself. Disney really does know how to bring the inner child back to life. You managed to do a lot in your short time. I can't believe it took an hour and twenty minutes on the bus. That is sinful. Oh well. It sounds like you enjoyed your day. Hopefully, you will come back for a longer stay.

Yes indeed, I relived my childhood again on that day! It was (just about!) worth the price tag! I actually thought one hour and twenty minutes on the bus wasn't that bad, lol!

I am so glad that you had such a great day at Disney. It sounds like the bus ride to Orlando was a thrill ride in itself. Roller coasters are a passion of mine, so while I am glad you didn't pay the huge price to go into the Universal Park, I can empathize with the internal debate. I probably would have passed too. Looking forward to more stories.

Thanks Brendan! Yes, that Greyhound bus ride to Orlando was certainly an experience! Thank you for confirming that my decision after the internal debate was probably the right one. I'm sure there'll be another day for the big thrill rides!

Sometimes you close your eyes and pay
Some places you visit you just have to not think too much when you pay. Like a friend told me, "Afterwards you won't miss the money, but you will regret if you don't allow yourself the experience". When we were in Orlando, we went to Epcot Center. That wasn't a great experience to be honest. The other theme parks are probably better. We have been to Euro Disney in Paris, and that is good, so Disney World is probably good too. /Ake

Glad you had such a good time at Disney World! My grandparents lived in Florida when I was a child, and one year (I believe Christmas 1973) we visited and went to Disney World. I think it had only fairly recently opened. Anyway, it was a blast, and your blog brought back memories of that time :).

Wow so glad you visited Magic Kingdom. I went there almost 20 years ago. I went to Disney in Shanghai on my own and you kind of forget you're on your own as so much to distract. Unfortunately though I wasn't able to queue jump being a single person as Chinese can't queue orderly. Do you know if the Tron ride is quite new? I went on it at Shanghai back In 2018 and at the time was told it's the only park to have that particular ride. Look forward to reading your blogs with the Binkleys 😊

Ah, well done you! I'm glad I'm not the only one who's been to Disney alone! 😊 You're right, you kind of forget about it after a bit! Argh, I wouldn't like the Shanghai one, I find lack of queuing etiquette very frustrating! Yes, Tron was absolutely brand new when I was there - only a select few tickets were made available the day of my visit, to trial the ride before it opened properly. Awesome that you got to go on it in Shanghai, it looked amazing! I loved my time with the Binkleys! I remember your also met up with them a few years ago. Travel Bloggers unite! 😁
